The Gift of Friendship

Friendship is a very beautiful thing which adds value to our life.Since primary school, I had so many friends in life but very few are with me at this time.When I decided to write about friendship, huge memories come to my mind since childhood. The relationship of friendship is the only known relationship on earth which accepts you for what and who you are without criticizing and judging you. While writing this I recall all my friends who make my life so beautiful and meaningful.“90% of best-friends don’t even talk to each other as they grow up” As we are growing old, everyone is getting busy in their life and with their work that they do they don’t have enough time for a 2-minute conversation with their friends anymore. But do you really think is it the time which is separating us? when we came to college, we talk to our college friends and so on. But we always forget about the past, about the things we shared with our old friends. As an old saying “OLD IS GOLD” Friends are the most fun loving, caring people one can have in their life. This strange bond can become even stronger than any other relationship. But for that we need to give time, just time to it. I would say those who have at least one good friend in their life, are the luckiest people. So always, make your friends feel special just by spending some time at a coffee shop or 2-minute phone conversation. Due to work it is impossible to contact with all my friends but still I can connect with them through social networking sites.Now, they are just a click away from me. Even though face to face communication in reality is tough though,we can connect virtually.Every now and then, I keep searching my lost friends, typing their names in Facebook. I found some, some found me but the friends whom I cannot find, if someday somehow you found my blog and read this note, let me assure you, I am still the same person, and yes the same friend of yours. I am enough to realize how unpredictable the life is?Friendship goes like a shadow with every ups and downs of life.

I would like to conclude my writing on friendship with thisfamous quote: “Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven’t learned anything.”
